Algae control using ultrasonic waveforms is an environmentally friendly method of effective control of nuisance algae. Using advanced ultrasonic technology a submerged transducer transmits ultrasonic waveforms to specifically target the algae cell structure destroying the cells cytoplasm rendering the algae dead.

Ultrasonics offer a cost-effective method to control algae that causes no negative impacts upon the environment. Once the units are installed by our trained technicians they require only the minimum of maintenance.

Installation

The devices can be supplied and installed within 3-4 weeks from order.

The devices require a standard 220/240 volt domestic type power supply. The largest of the standard range of units has a power rating of 80W.

All of the units can be adapted for solar power. Solar power units can be supplied and installed to suit specific requirements.

The ultrasonic units can be left in place all year round. They have no moving parts and as such maintenance is minimal and restricted to cleaning the transducer face.
